13 months ago a comprehensive management proposal was sent to the Owner members of the Nautilus Cove Condo BOD by an international management firm with regional representation in the panhandle. This firm currently represents the Westwinds on the Sandestin Resort, Majestic Sun, Destin, The Grand Sandestin, Ariel Dunes and Ariel Dunes II, Destin.
The 24 page proposal covers all aspects of representation including costs. The proposal was ignored by the BOD.
You might recall that last year the then existing BOD, composed of 2 Developer members and our one Owner BOD member voted 3-0 to approve a sweetheart management contract for Concord Management. I was surprised that our own BOD member voted WITH the 2 Developer BOD members. He also voted with them in giving away choice office space in our clubhouse to the Developer to use until Hell freezes over with no compensation to the association. This Owner member is Mr. DiGiacomo, BOD member and Association President. The Board needs better representation than has been provided by this member and we need a new management firm.
